Reupholstering a Bergère Chair

This Bergère chair was looking tired and worn out. The fabric covering the seat cushion was so worn that it had a large hole in it and was significantly frayed. It seemed like the chair was destined for the landfill, which is a shame because, despite the tired fabric, it’s a beautiful piece.

Fortunately, we were able to replace the fabric with new one in a similar color scheme with a demask print.

Custom Window Valances

In a dining room, you aren’t necessarily concerned with privacy. However, a window treatment can sofen the look of your windows while adding some personality to your space.

We love how these custom valances turned out.  The pattern adds a touch of interest to the windows, which let plenty of natural light into the dining room. Window treatments provide a tasteful way to show off your personal style in your space.

Custom Upholstered Chair and Sofa

These homeowners chose an elegant pattern for their loveseat. The pale yellow and royal blue create a perfect complement to the living room, and the throw pillows and chair pull out the rich blue from the pattern.

Fabric comes in infinite styles, patterns, and colors. Updating your furniture with the pattern of your choice can change the whole look of your living room and help your home to feel more like you.custom sofa, throw pillows, and chair

Custom Dining Room Bench

Benches have a lot of applications, and when you choose to install one that is completely customized, the possibilities are truly endless. If you have a swatch of awkward or wasted space in your home, the right bench can put it to good use.

Take this recent project for example. The pattern on this fabric complements the space beautifully. This bench adds a perfect touch of color to all its white surroundings.

We hope this family derives much enjoyment from their new piece in this cozy nook, a sunny, quiet place to sit and draw or relax with a cup of tea.Dining Room Bench

Another Custom Window Seat

We’ve been creating a lot of custom window seats lately (check out this project from a few months ago) and that’s great! We love these kinds of projects.

A custom window seat adds a special, high-class touch to your home. These are the type of details that will come in handy when it’s time to sell your home. And in the meantime, you can enjoy a cozy space to curl up with a book or sit with your family while you look out the window.  Window Seat Project

Custom Sheer Pinch Pleated Drapes in a Bedroom

We are excited to share the photos of this recent project, a set of custom blinds in a bedroom. The white, sheer blinds are perfect for a space like this, because they add privacy while letting in a natural light. In this bedroom, the drapes are the perfect way to enhance the cozy reading nook near the window.

These seamless drapes are 118″ long and made of batiste. They are sheer pinch pleated drapes hung on a traverse rod.

How Window Treatments Tie a Room Together

It’s always rewarding to see how our work makes a room come together. One of our clients recently sent as a photo of their living room after we created custom drapes.

We think the room looks great! Since our eyes are naturally drawn to light, your window dressings are always noticed. Drapes that are customized to match the furniture, paint, and decor are a great way to tie a room together.

Matching Drapes to Chair for a Cohesive Look

When this homeowner called on us to redecorate their space, we suggested using the same fabric for both the drapes and the chair upholstery.

This really ties the room together for a cohesive aesthetic. Take a look:

At Rosen Interiors, customers can choose from our wide array of fabrics, or supply their own. The result is an endless possibility for mixing and matching your furniture with your window treatments.

Roman Shades With Box Pleated Valance

We are excited to share this photo from a recent window treatment project. We created a set of custom Roman shades with a box pleated valance for our client.

This window treatment is made with custom fabric, and created especially for this window, giving the room a special touch that is truly unique. Since the eye is drawn to natural light, a window is a good place to let your creativity shine in your home. It won’t go unnoticed!

Custom Top Treatment

Windows are usually a focal point of a room. They’re the space where natural light flows in. Window treatments can soften the hard lines of your window, creating a softer and more cheerful feel.

We recently installed this custom green top treatment at this home. The silky texture of the green fabric gives this room the extra something it needs. Since eyes tend to be attracted to light, an attractive window treatment can do a lot to liven up a space.
